Champions Making Champions

Our championship-level training staff is available from enthusiast instruction to pro level throughout the year. Our non-pro competitors have the support of a team, but our goals remain for individual excellence. Excellence originates from rookie competition to the top 20 non-pros in special event competition in reining, roping and cutting.

We strive to meet your personal goals from the very beginning classes at the affiliate level, to the premier event of the year: the open finals at the NRHA Futurity.

To focus on specific training disciplines, American West Quarter Horses offers you specially designed and constructed training arenas with separate stabling accommodations for your horse. Each of the stables offers rubber-matted floors, 26 generous, temperature-control water mister stalls, wash racks and individual tack lockers.

The training arenas are individually designed and outfitted for performance reining, roping and cutting instruction including a:

300’ x 150’ roping arena

190’ x 100’ cutting pen

300’ x 150’ reining arena

An additional 150’ round training arena is also available for cutting. Cattle pens and access are located adjacent to the cutting pen, but away from the public areas.
