There's Nothing Like It

AWQH horse training, breeding and boarding servicesWelcome to American West Quarter Horses - setting a new standard in professional Quarter Horse training, breeding and boarding services. Located in the rapidly growing horse ranch community of Rio Verde just outside Scottsdale, Arizona, our newly constructed facility is situated on 40 hillside mountain-view acres adjacent to the expansive open range of McDowell Mountain Park.

As you enter American West Quarter Horses, you pass through a Spanish motif grand entry. Lined by seven acres of enclosed grass pastures, the main drive leads around a geyser-fed pond welcoming you to our purely southwest designed ranch naturally landscaped with abundant indigenous color. Adjacent to the pond is the business office fronting a 30-stall main barn and a 250’ x 140’ temperature-controlled covered arena.

AWQH entrance to 7 acres of enclosed pastures, 30 stall barn and outdoor arenaIt is our intent to provide only the highest quality in breeding and show horse services with world-class facilities to accommodate them. Our approach is to treat you with a more guest-oriented approach unlike the standard stalls-for-rent stables. Not only is comfort and safety a core consideration in our facilities design, but we offer you individualized daily care and feeding services specific to your horse. This is a very unique opportunity for you to be part of a facility that is a truly cut above.

American West Quarter Horses general manager is former national Arabian amateur champion, Stacie Stewart. With several US National Arabian, National Show Horse and Canadian National Championships and National Top Ten titles, Stacie has vast experience in quality performance horse care and was instrumental in the unique design and development of American West Quarter Horses.
